What I can do is share my experience and that is that on 2/14/2011 I got
an email that my account was disabled for invalid click activity (email
above) I felt the reason was vague and they would not expand on the
reason for terminating my account. I then appealed and the appeal was
denied BUT I have received an email on 3/2/2001 stating that they have
reversed their decision and are in fact reinstating my account. As I
stated in this hub (before the edit) I was very angry and hurt over this
and now, since this has happened, it leaves me confused, wondering why
all this happened in the first place.
So for whatever reason (still don't know) my account was posing a risk for invalid click activity so they disabled it. Maybe disabling doesn't necessarily mean closing for good? Anyway, they disabled it and then re-reviewed the records and made the decision (a few weeks later) it didn't pose a risk for invalid click activity so they have now reinstated it? From what I've read about invalid click activity there is pretty much nothing I could have done to prevent it and there's no way anyone could have come in and logged into my account and clicked on my ads unless a someone broke into my house, logged onto my account and clicked on the ads. It's a big question mark but I sure hope it doesn't happen again.
If nothing else this has made me more aware of needing to pay attention to all the details like eCPM and things like that and also I plan to start paying more attention to other details of my account besides just the earnings. I just sure do hope that this doesn't happen again to me or anyone else. This whole thing has been really stressful but what I can say for adsense is they did the right thing and reinstated my account.
