Windows Change uppercase to lowercase






How to quickly change text from Uppercase to Lowercase? Highllight the desired text and then tap Shift + F3.



If you want to know when you have accidentally hit the Caps Lock button right away, you can tell Windows to play an audible beep every time.



In Windows 7, click:



Start. Go to Control Panel and click Ease of Access Centre. Select: "Make keyboard easier to use" and tick the little box beside "Turn on toggle keys."



Now you will hear a tone alerting you whenever you press Caps Lock, Scroll Lock or Num Lock.



In Windows XP or Windows Vista, click Accessbility Options in Control Panel to make the change.



Keyboard tricks:



Shift + Alt + Enter opens up any document properties box



Shift + Alt + PrntScrn will open a window. Click OK and hit Enter. This enlarges the font on all open windows and changes colour to a higher resolution. Clicking the same option again will revert back to the original screen



To bypass Recycle Bin when deleting something, press Shift + Del



A quick and easy way to protect and lock your screen when you are going to be away from the computer - press Windows logo key + L. When you return and log back in, all your programs will still be running.



Ctrl + X : Cuts the item(s) from the Clipboard



Ctrl + Z : Undoes the last action



Ctrl + F4 : Closes the active window



Ctrl + Esc : displays Start menu



Alt + F4 : Close active item/quit program



Windows logo key + Esc : Open My Computer folder



Windows logo key + F : Search for a file or folder



Windows logo key + R : Open the Run dialogue box



Windows logo key + U : Opens up Utility Manager box
