The procedure for jailbreak is completely different than the earlier ones. So even if you have done this with other devices, Please do read this carefully before proceding.
Step 1: Download the Following File - Absinthe and Unzip it.

Step 2: Plug in your iPhone 4S or iPad 2. It is recommended that you disable any lock code on your device.
Step 3: Open the Absinthe File and Click on Jailbreak.Step 4: Be patient and wait for the jailbreak to complete. It takes about 15 mins to complete. After some time, you will see a loading icon on the iPhone/iPad status bar.Later, your iPhone shows a "Restore in Progress Screen"Then your screen shows this.After Some time, your device will reboot. And you will be back at your lock screen. But do not unlock your iPhone yet.Step 5: Once the above screen appears, Unlock your device and find the Absinthe App.Step 6: Open Absinthe App and wait.
