Sometimes in life simple and common student (which should be the case for some Zér0s, I think;)) need to create small video montages on occasion, I am not me, for a small business to make (works personal boxes for the ignares ^ ^) or any other presentation, brief, create a small video editing to better illustrate his point.
EH well good: I am going to offer free and easily make a small personal video editing. Note that this is not very hard, and I am contenterais give you the way forward, as well as tips to suit your editing situation.
I work with Windows Movie Maker software graciously provided by Microsoft with Windows OS from the Millennium version and more. Normally, the software is pre-installed but may have to be upgraded via the Internet.
The tutorial is version 2 of Windows Movie Maker. If you do not have the same screenshots than me, you must use an earlier version. Make the shift from Windows Update, thank you.
Summary of the tutorial: Chapter icon * Premier Pas * your first video clip * retrieve video * tips and tricks Premier Pas Commençons by check if you have the right tools. Normally, Windows Movie Maker software is included free with the operating system Windows XP (professional or family, regardless). If you have this OS, then go in the start menu, then select all programs to finally click shortcut Windows Movie Maker (shown by a film in color film). Normally, the main interface should show you the main elements of this software. Thus, you will find the different elements that make up the software: * interface acquisition software; * library currently selected; * the viewer; * the weft of time.
Start by changing, if it is not already selected, the time frame for does not have as sequence (to do this, select the appropriate option by clicking the timeline displays).
timeline I think that it is better to work with this view so you can better gauge the time that elapses, or just basicelly do a blog wikio and see the sequence of your movies.
Then, you can edit the default properties for not having each time to deliver your Director Nick, your copyright and everything (except the title that changes with each timeline, of course). To do this, go to file / properties, and then enter the corresponding information.
Your first video as it is often said: "it is forging it makes perfect", it is therefore in amount of video clips that it becomes a true video-maker! Let's create a new project. Faites file / new project, and then you save the project under... and name your file depending on your mood;).
This file is the project file, it is certainly not the final video. Don't expect therefore not play your video by double-clicking it.
It's a lightweight file that tells the software how are organized the parts of your editing, as well as the place where the elements are stored. In my case, I've named it test, and saved it in my documents.
Image user if you change of place these items, software no longer returns him to specify the new location. In your table editing, it will be marked by a large red x on your sequences: o.
Now, what? Well, you must import (c? is to say, tell the software where files are located) elements that constitute your timeline. On the left panel, you can import music, images, video, or outright purchase to a device (for example, a camera if you have one;)). Personally, I have started with images, which is often good practice. Choose two three photos that you want to use (fear nothing for your files, they are not changed by the software), and import them into software (make import photos, and then select selected images).
Image user pictures are now in the library. If you wish, you can change the library by choosing another drop-down list. But they are not in the timeline! A drag / drop to bring on Timeline (the plane of Mount) at the bottom. Put them to the suite. Test by pressing the "play button" in the Viewer. It is: you have your first video editing (or at least you have a preview).
That is what the Timeline? It's the mounting bar at the bottom of the software. It is this bar which is the main piece of software, by allowing you to manage the appearance of various elements.
Image what the Timeline is composed user? On a video part that will host your sequences (video clips), transition part that will show you the different transitions between clips, audio part which is in fact the sound of the video clip is equipped with an audio part / music that will contain the background music, and the overlay title, but we will see this later o_O.
Do not confuse the audio part and part audio / music! The first is the sound of your video clip (that you have imported), while only the second will contain music that you decide to include in your final cut.
Peaufinons it all. That is what makes your timeline is moche (do not say the opposite, it is made express: p) with professional clips? Missing, in bulk: background music, transitions (how to pass from one image to another) and titles of your clip. Let's step by step.
To embed the music, import (make import sound or music, select a sound file). Adds the file in the library, and you can add it to the Timeline, but this time in the audio category / music. Repeat the test Viewer: pictures are now in music: D!
Complete our final Assembly, we need to include some headlines. To do this, go to tools / titles and credits. The software offers you 5 choices, but ultimately there are only two differences.
Either you choose to make a title image to a movie clip (i.e. that acts as your pictures), or creating a mezzanine title. This is what concerns us here. In this case, select the option Add a title to the clip that is selected in the timeline. You type your text, you accept the title and paf! It was the chocapics! Uh, I lost me there. A new object is added in your Timeline, and you see that your title. Allows you to overlay it to your clips already, which is much better and much more attractive. Innovate a bit, and now, our project is finished. :)
User load video image I mean here that râlent: colere:.
But where is our video?
Well it is not yet encoded, that's all. In other words, indicated the project organize clips, now, ask them to create a video file.
To do this, select Save to my computer in the panel on the right, specify the size (leave the default options, it is the format best suited to playing on your computer) and choose a file and the location of this file name. Now, wait! This may take more or less time depending on the size of the project. Go coffee machine at the corner:-°, SIP it, and return on your PC.
Now, do you need more to include your photo between both sides of the clip to get a result nec plus ultra: lol:.
At the end of this tutorial, I hope have initiated you the pleasure of video editing.
